” One Girl, One Teacher, One Book and One Pen can change the World ”. Our Artham second adopted student Nageshwari.S TVS primary school fees of Rs.2470 for fifth standard has been paid on 21st October 2k13 by Vinoth Pandian on behalf of Artham.

Donation to Balar Illam

Our Artham members  Sowndharya. K and Dhana lakhmi went to Balar Illam, Madurai on 9th September 2k13. They spent few hours with the girl students in the asharam and conducted competitions in Dance, Singing, Drawing and Collage work. Winners were awarded with chocolates  and stationary items were distributed to all students. A sum of Rs.1000 was spent for the items purchased and students were really happy of their visit after a long time.

“Every Charitable act is a stepping stone toward heaven ”. Our timely help, helped Mr. SATHISH. V doing 2nd year EEE in Vel Tech Engineering College Avadi, Chennai. He was restricted to college and was lagging attendance for many days as he was unable to pay his college fees. We ARTHAM provided him Rs. 5000 on the very next day (26th July 2k13) when we came to know the news through Raga Divya understanding his urgency. He paid his total college fees and was resumed back to college on 27th July. He was so much thankful to our ARTHAM and assured to study well to bring up his family.

“Give a girl an education and introduce her properly into the world, and ten to one but she has the means of settling well, without further expense to anybody. ”,P.JENIFER ( 2nd year of BBM at R.B.Gothi Jain College for woman, Chennai ), the eldest daughter of a family of five, had broken her education obstacle ( her 3rd semester fees of Rs.8250) along with the hands of Artham. The fees was been paid by SRI HARI NARAYAN on 24th June 2013 representing Artham. This help, enlightened her to continue her studies even more confidently.

“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” And one such life was given to Ms.S.Thangamayil, a ninth grader of AMHNU.Matric Higher Secondary School, Aundipatti ( adopted by ARTHAM for her studies ) who strives hard to give her best always. Mr. Yogesh Dastan guided her with the beacon, a young and willing person of ARTHAM who paid Rs.15,140 (Rs.4,550+Rs.10,590) which includes 1st term School fees of Rs.4,550 and Books, Note books and Smart class fees of Rs.10,590 (Rs.1,440+Rs.9,150) for 3 terms on 20/06/2013.

Retinal vision does not capture much than the brain does, and here is one such version of brain vision, Mr.Natraj, Son of Mr. Pattabi from Chennai. He is a visually challenged person, who is pursuing his B.Ed in Indira Gandhi College of education. He is a well capable person, and is in need of money for paying his college fees. His total fee is Rs.50000, and he has got a concession of Rs.3000. He made arrangements for Rs. 7000 and is in need of remaining Rs.40000 for paying his fees. ARTHAM collected and contributed an amount of Rs. 10000 for his education. Ms. Nithya Priyadharshini, handed over the amount to Mr. Natraj on 08th April 2013, which would help him for his upcoming exams.

Mr.HUSSAIN ARIF 13 years old S/O Late.Mr. ABDUL SIDDIQUE ALI P.M.S, who has been suffering from “NEPHROTIC SYNDROME” (disfunctioning of kidneys) since 2002. He is undergoing dialysis thrice a week. Now it has become necessary to transplant his kidneys to save his precious life. Transplantation of kidney costs above 15 lakhs. As he is from a poor family doctors suggested to transform his mother’s kidney which reduces the actual cost to6 lakhs approximately.  Miss.S.Thaslima handed Rs.4000 for his treatment given by ARTHAM on 12th January 2013.

Mr.Kumaresan, (22 years) was on his way for an interview on 29th December 2k12 met with anaccident which left him with two blood clots in the brain and a fractured skull. He was admitted in KG Hospitals, Race Course road, Coimbatore. Mr.R.S.Gowtham friend of him handed Rs.4000 for his treatment given by ARTHAM on 2nd January 2k13. There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
